Building on the ideas of the TAS Group - an ICT company that went public successfully in 1998 and was sold to PinkRoccade - René Scholten, Nico Laan and Jan Gieles founded a new company in 2004. With the same philosophy, similar principles and a formula adapted to modern times, Calco came into being.
From then to now
In 2006, Calco introduced the Calco MasterClass®, in which graduate candidates and alumni (with and without IT background) are prepped to get started with clients within two months. Recruitment for this course even made the press. After this, Calco grew rapidly. 2008 saw the arrival of the hundredth employee and in 2012, the two hundredth employee was welcomed.
